Permatex 56521 High Performance Thread Sealant, 50 ML
General Description:
Permatex’s High Performance Thread Sealant is formulated specifically for metal, tapered pipe thread fittings. Thread Sealant replaces Teflon® tape and pipe dopes and cures rapidly to withstand up to 10,000 PSI. Prevents galling and protects mated threaded areas from rust and corrosion. Contains PTFE.

Instructions
- Clean and dry parts using Permatex® Surface Prep™
- Knead tube of Permatex® High Performance Thread Sealant before use.
- Apply sealant to leading threads of the male fitting, leaving the first thread free of sealant.
- Apply to only ¾ of a thread turn. It is not necessary to apply to all threads.
- Assemble parts and tighten to recommended torque. Refer to Technical Data Sheet for complete information.
